The meanings that are assigned to racial groups and categories now get built into all of the technologies that we develop. So what we have, for example, now in the world of policing, is something that we've got to pay really close attention to. This digital platform that we're living on that allows for these technologies to take off is a global platform. The ways in which we understand race here in America will be multiplied and fed into the system.
