Ransomware - A Real Life Hacker's Story
Ransom ware is where some malicious actor takes over your computer and demands payment. In the space of 24 hours, it spread to more than 230 thousand computers in 150 countries. You could only unlock this computer, if it was infected, by sending bit coin to an anonymous account. On the same day this occurs, hutchins gets wind of it, and he starts reverse engineering the code. And because of how quickly he did it, he was able to cut off the floe of this world eating ransom ware.
