What Is the Enlightenment?
Kant said even the gospel should be subject to our own reason. Now, of course, we're all intellectually adulterous. We do forsake the Logos and follow other forms of logic but that's not the dream. Not the Christian view of truth. This is what Kant actually wants to promote. That's very much what the enlightenment is about.
