Kelsey: I like how you really take seriously both ethical questions, but also questions about people's mental health and sort of personal flourishing. And so along those lines, one post of yours that stuck with me was about why it's not necessarily always good to just read arguments you disagree with. She says reading someone they strongly disagree with makes them less caretively inclined towards the ideas. Kelsey: This isn't virtuous, this is just like itself destructive. It doesn't teach you very much about people.
