Karl: Does neo-Calvinism bring anything specific to the table relative to the Christian life or to church life? Karl: It's a disestablished way of seeking a Christian commonwealth, and they were trying to do that from the ground up rather than in any sense from the top down. He says it provides an impetus for engagement with culture that doesn't just affirm culture. Karl: Christians are called to be truly human in that sense, because Greece restores nature.
