The Heart Problem of Consciousness

In eatethis consciousness is not born, nor is anything caused by it. There's no way it could have been produced by the brain. You are already immortal. That cannot be destroyed. From one material entity, another material entity can be produced. But from consciousness, which is not a material entity, how can something be produced which is an object? Production, cause and effect. Both are objects to consciousnes. If something is produced from consciousness, and consciousness itself becomes an object, it becomes a cause, but consciousness is neither cause nor object. No baboo acute.
