The Power Dynamic

We're asking the others to be better than we ourselves are. Well, that makes me uncomfortable. That's the point is that that thought exercise should make you uncomfortable. And so we don't have to worry about them doing terrible things to us because we're sentient and they're sentient and we're kind of pals in that way. We're on the same sort of level. It's a weird, it's a kind of wish fulfillment in a way.
