Why Women Are More Prone to Having Anger as a Woman Than Men
"It's so hard to have anger as a woman," says Ali G. "I feel like I have to, I have to be very clear and calm when I deliver it." Women are not socialized to express anger by getting frustrated or yelling, the way that that really intense emotion comes out is through tears. As adults, women are far more likely to suppress their anger than men.
