Up until now, the n has been criticised for its very conspicuous absence from ukraine. It's not really played such a big role in trying to resolve this crisis. Basely, it all comes down to president putin. So far, he has been defiant in the face of foreign pressure. Numerous foreign leaders have tried to engage him in negotiations and convince him to stop the war in crane. But he has refused so far. And ultimately, it is up to him to say whether it goes on or it stops.
