I felt like there was no data, and it felt very important that we had the data. So at this point, really what we're doing as tracking schools. I'm not so much covet but just tracking like school reopens,. And trying to study the long term impacts of that. Do you ever engage with the critics? Yes, i will sometimes engage with people, and on twitter, i'll sometimes try to engage with them in other ways.

I do much less reading of the comments than I did early on because I found that eventually I just got mad and that's not a productive way to interact. And it affects how I think about what I write, and I would like what I write to be the things that I think are true, not the things I think will avoid people being angry.”
