Carol Costello: I was just so struck by this whole passage where you, which is going to take him eventually into the jing and the secret of the golden flower. She says Jung's experience here anticipates later development on his own part in terms of finding other cultures that have held it in non-western ways. Costello: If we can engage with these shadow aspects of ourselves, then there is some potential in that act like composting for renewal versus the avoidance of it.
