Avenues member James Drifter Campbell, 47, was charged with criminal threats for pointing a gun at a 17 year old African-American high school student in Highland Park. Since the trial of Anthony Prudham's killers, his mother Louisa has become obsessed with the avenues gang. She routinely drives Highland Park looking for signs of the gang, talking to anyone willing to talk. About 75% of Highland Park residents are Latino, only 2% are black.
