The Cosmic Battle Going on in Second Corinthians

Paul talks about the knowledge of God being displayed through him and the other apostles. So I think there is a sense from Paul's perspective that Satan is trying to stop the gospel from going forth in the world. And so when you get to chapter 12, Paul gives this example from his own life for the Corinthians to see that he himself has experienced this kind of opposition from the Satanic realm. But he triumphed through the grace and the power of God.
