Is There a Lack of Humility in Politics?

If there's one attribute missing in political leadership often, that i see, it's a lack of humility. People refuse to acknowledge that they might not know a lot of stuff, but they're boyr the confident in those opinions. And shouldn't your goal be to be correct and to make an air tight argument? In combat and in business, there's not air tight arguments. There's not anyone that knows the future.
