How to Train to Manage Your Trigger
Train stands for the T is trigger. What is it that's triggering me? I stop and reflect on this. Okay, I have a high need for autonomy. My trigger is really being pushed now because this woman is taking control of the situation. So I take a step back and reflect on that trigger. I can label that trigger. There's something called labeling, which helps your brain get out of that fight or flight mode and into more of a introspective mode. And then the I in the moment is include. And that is about that brain that wants to have in-group versus out-group. If I do that, it diffuses the situation more.
