The Importance of Local Tissue Specific Load

I think there's definitely a growing awareness and appreciation of local tissue specific load in certainly amongst the endurance world. I just wish I had known this when I was a 17 or 16-year-old kid because I think these kind of things and the way we can modulate volume and intensity in our training, I would have loved to have known that 30 years ago. If you want to give yourself a chance of being the best you can be at whatever sport, then you want to get the balance right.
