I feel like this is a really good start for data contracts, and it's probably enough to start implementing. But I feel like there's also going to be a lot of evolution in this field. In fact, what they've probably done with this article is just kick off this whole discussion of very concrete technical details for implementation. It drives me insane that analysts and data scientists and people on the consuming end of things have to clean things up. So if you look at it from a process standpoint, it's absolutely backwards the way we do stuff right now.
