15 year old girl charged with an utterly ridiculous offence. She was sentenced and removed from her home without a lawyer present. This court had essentially let a child represent herself in a case where her liberty was in jeopardy. After a bit of questioning, the lawyers realized that piece of paper larene and hilary had signed at the checkand table that was a waver of counsel. By signing it, they had waved hilary's right to an attorney without even realize.
