The Challenges of Kant's Moral Philosophy
Kant says that for us to have knowledge of the existence of something, it does have to be empirical. He's not trying to become a buckle and idealist. He's trying to say that we can't know what is underneath experience. And he wants to open up that space for faith, for morality, you know, for the beauty,. You know, for politics - all these things that we don't know with same level of certainty.
