Claire, I have a lightning for you. How do you handle shiny object syndrome? Claire: When I notice that I'm engaging with it, I will stop and ask myself. What is this shiny object promising me that I'm craving so much? Or what is it promising me protection from that I'm trying to avoid? Most of the time the answer is no. So then the object doesn't look so shiny to me anymore. And then my attention is able to shift to something else,. Usually shift back to what I know I should be doing anyway - achieving what I want to achieve.
