Henry Slade Was a Fraudster
Henry Slade was accused of fraud when he performed a series of seances in London. A zoology professor at the University of London led an investigation into his claims. Ray Lancaster discovered that Slade had used a thimble, painted to match his skin color,. upon which was embedded a tiny chunk of the same type of pencil used to write on the slate.
