Are the Tartars Part of the Khanate?
There's no doubt that their ambitions of course extended over the whole world. And they were sending Mongol Khan, sending letters to the Pope and the King of England,. They even get through to the Adriatic one or two points in what's now the Croatian Dalmatian case. But then what happens is the great Khan dies, and there's this sort of tradition that they go back to the east to elect his successor. So these Hungary is saved, etc. I think I read some of the raid up even into Finland. Can that be true? Not sure about Finland, but certainly deep into Hungary.
