The Trauma of Tupac's Assassination
I was recently reading Sofia Bucari, and she made this analysis a long, long time ago. She also has another chapter called, less we forget in which she lists out around 50 of the different Panthers who were slain. Some of them, people walked up to them in the streets and just point-blank shot them. Others were kidnapped and their bodies were found two or three days later. And so thank you for putting that into perspective. Even like you said with Tupac, even the children of these revolutionaries are having to live in that trauma. I can only imagine some of what these other families have gone through.
