The Legend of Gog and Magog by Jeffrey of Monmouth
In the Alexander legend, Gog and Magog are not a giant per se, but they're like a race of monsters. And so with the giants banished, Brutus establishes the kingdom of Britain. The legendary history that Jeffrey of Monmouth lays out traces this line of Trojan British rulers. This line ultimately produces among other people the Roman Empire Constantine the Great.
