A New Alloy That Can Maintain Its Strength Nearly Its Melting Point

The alloy is 42% aluminum, 25% titanium, 13% niobium, 8% zirconium and 4% tantalum. It was able to maintain its strength up to 800 degrees Celsius or 1,472 degrees Fahrenheit. This kind of alloy would be useful in things like fusion reactors where containment vessels can get very, very hot without breaking apart.
