A lot of post structuralist politics is inspired by a kind of nician disposition. We have to acknowledge that sometimes if we create the conditions for everyone to flourish, they're not necessarily going to commit themselves to some grand project. A lot of people are reasonably comfortable with lives that are comparatively sedentary. It's creating an interesting society where everybody's just living their own life and enjoying it.
