A lot of baby boomers have minimal mortgage or no mortgage against their home. When they eventually die over the next decade or so, they're going to be passing that on to their children and grandchildren. The other thing too is there's certain cohorts and demographics that will enjoy rising income much faster than the average. Those financial resources make a material contribution for some demographics into increasing housing affordability.
