A massive amount of the world's nickel is in Indonesia specifically either in Silo Eisie or North Maluku. As the world hurdles Pelmel into developing electric vehicles, there's gonna be a massive increase in demand for batteries using components from Indonesian nickel. The entirety of that supply chain right now is operated by Chinese investors who have invested billions in Indonesia and Russia.
