David Allen: I always knew I was going to be an entrepreneur. The idea for Grasshopper was actually quite simple, which was me and my business partner both had other businesses that needed this solution. And in doing that, we just created this very quickly based on our own needs. We should have done much better in terms of research and we had a business plan because we were in school, but it was not formally laid out.
