Introduction
Dr. Christopher Morrison has been awarded a Niac Grant for the Lunar Flashlight, which is another decaying isotope. It would provide power to a lunar rover, but also serve as a science instrument onboard the rover. So it could both survive the lunar night, but also drive into the permanently shadow craters on the moon and be able to scan them for minerals.
