Capitalism and the State Fuse

The state under capitalism is just the expression of capitalist interests through governance. Capital will always be eroding those regulations, because that's that is capital seeking its maximum return. The other thing that I think bears mentioning and this is truly a side note is that capitalism has this fail-safe built into it called recuperation. This was a concept created by the situationists and it's a really important one. It creates its own value through commodification of dissent. So we've seen so many cultures and subcultures and movements that have worked this way.
