Breastfeeding Is Not a Bad Idea
Most mothers bruspeh, but the wealthy didn't. It's difficult to be quite sure what was a matter of rank. There were fears that breastfeeding aged a mother more than would otherwise be the case. The Countess of Lincoln had never breastfed any of her children. She wrote a book about it in 1620 and dedicated it to her daughter.
