Is There a Relationship Between Socioeconomic Status and Your Goals?

There was no correlation between socioeconomic status and the effect of an intrinsic or extrinsic orientation. This shocked me because I would have assumed that having a strong extrinsic motivator to get money might actually be really beneficial for wellbeing. If you're super poor, then it's really hard to be well. The person that maybe involves other people and has community is going to be better off than the person who's just focused on the money.
