Ansel Keys and Ivan France were the co principal investigators. They found that if they chemically modified LDL causing something creating something called acetyl LDL, it would cause the white blood cells to hoover up the modified LDL. The problem was the acetyl LDL doesn't exist in the body. And what made these LDL susceptible to becoming oxidized was the amount of seed oil in the diet. All foil does not oxidize the way seed oils do.
