How Do We Drive Better Clinical Integration of Behavioral Health Services?
Being Medicaid is very politicized depending on which state you're working in including North Carolina. A lot of the managed care, managed Medicaid programs across states carve out behavioral health benefits at certain times and then not at others. There may be a lack of clinical integration of behavioral health services into normal care plans because there isn't reimbursement integration. These value-based care models that many of our partners are starting to roll out or getting people to think about it differently can help patients reintegrate clinically and operationally.
