This book examines political thought in india in the first half of the twentieth century. It looks at major figures like thilog gandi, ambet, karsawarker, igbal and patal as well as how they clashed in terms of ideas and actions. We can't apply foreign prisms to understand india so it's important to get a sense of those debates
