The Effect of Cutoffs on Post-Operative Pulmonary Complication Rates

It's hard to say exactly what might have led to the difference. In this trial, most of them were using acceleromography as opposed to EMG or MMG. If they would have set a cutoff of train-of-four ratio of 0.95, it would have been associated with a statistically significant reduction in post-operative pulmonary complications of 3.5 percent risk reduction.
