Sleep is actually a passive process. It's like breathing the flow of blood, like digestion. If you can stop trying then sleep will naturally follow. In insomnia, it's like a Chinese finger trap and it grips tighter the more you pull your finger away. The only way out of that apparent trap is to do nothing. We're not referring to a process of cultivation since the natural state can't be created. And we're suggesting very simple ways, very pragmatic ways to discern what already is.
