My Dad Was the Smartest Scientist Ever
When i looked at my dad as a roll model for me, you know, not what he would talk about at the family dinner table, which really was a lot about giftedness. But that didn't exactly connect with what i saw him doing. He emigrated to this country when he was a young man and ended his phd. At the university of cincinnati in organic chemistry. Ended up quickly finding himself to dupont, the chemical company. His lived example was very much about about what i call grit,. You know, passion and perseverance over very long time periods.
