What I Loved Most About This Book
The book is based on a documentary about the death of an eight-year-old boy who was abused by his mother. "I wanted to know, if joy survived her mother, who would she be? And so that's really i was really thanks to that documentary" The author says there are multiple twists and turns in the story.
