The underlying softer feeling of vulnerability or hurt isn't as toxic and it passes very quickly. When you notice somebody who's super harsh or judgmental that's often that's they're being self protective. The third tool is kind of a biggie it's kind of like discover the meaning of life that's the tool but it's not  it's a reframing exercise so I would say this is probably better for those who have a less traumatic hurt but once again we need to reframe our thinking.
