The Effect of the Pandemic on Social Media
Technology that's glued to our hip 24-7 has been completely normalized. We've also just come out of these horrific lockdowns where everyone you know might have had some decent human connection but for loads of my mates they were stuck in you know flats apartments on their own without any contact and it was really upsetting to see the impact that that had on people. If we participate in the virtual world actively we're more likely to be okay and maybe even to get happier and more connected according to research. But this passive doom scrolling as we call it yes we'll lead us down a terrible path we will say.
