As somebody who holds no patents whatsoever I'm intrigued that you've been awarded 49 of them for your work at IBM. Could you talk for a minute about the process by which research becomes business and the role that patents play in that area? Yeah so first I'll talk about research becoming business. From research outcome to commercialize product in users hand is a very long journey. It involved many different stakeholders and it's one of the so during the seven years of tenure my mind was so stretched because there is a science front and there is a commercialization front.
