The security from crowd strike, which was involved in examining the d an c hack, announced strong evidence that the mawar used to hack the d ance was also used in a russian hacking effort against the ucranian military. The report suggests with high confidence that fancy bear, which was one of the entities that's penetrated the d and c, works for russia's military intelligence agency known as the g r u. So we have 17 intelligence agencies, plus a private security, a computer security firm, corroborating what many have long suspected, that this was perpetrated by the Russian government.
