I think that he really did believe that she would help him. There's a moment in the game where David finally reveals the truth of his attraction to her. I remember on that day Bella and Ali were like, 'Can you come over here for a second? What exactly does this do?' And they're like, hey, can you come over there for a second because neither one of them had really studied that scene. It was brilliant. We replicate identically because we have to because it's brilliant.
