Prince Pliny was held captive by giantesses who wanted to marry him. They were in mortal danger, and his kingdom was in peril. Signe proposed that they escape through the ruins carved on the outside of pliny's bed - which glowed slightly. The prince thought about it for a few minutes before saying he would accept her proposal if she could get them away from their captors.
