The Ideology of Africans
In the late 18th and early 19th centuries, anti-African propaganda became a developed ideology in America. The fact that enslaved population in America's is majority African was key to its development. If it remained mixed, I don't think an ideology which targeted Africans as being inherently a fear would have developed. In ancient Rome, there were no ethnic skin color barriers to reaching that kind of level. Their society was citizens versus barbarian was the big divide. Other than that, whether it was, you know, skin color ancestry et cetera, not something that was paid attention to all gimelip services.
