Can DeSantis Be the MAGA Guy?

DeSantis is going a different route and we'll see if he's successful, but it's an interesting theory, right? Can he be the MAGA guy by tapping into other arguments rather than just placating Donald Trump's ego? He's a culture vulture. Any cultural issue he can leap into he does. The very fact there's an opening for DeSantis to do what he's doing shows that the Republican significant chunk of the Republican electorate isn't anti-Trump,. But they want to move on to somebody new and fresh and not as backward looking.
