The Rise and Fall of Berkshire Hathaway
At that time, life was really good because pretty much anything you did went up. And so for example, one business in India, I put about 10 or $12,000 and I cashed out about 1.5 million. That's pretty good. But then when he was starting the funds in 99 and 2000 and so on, I knew I was facing these huge headwinds. So basically, what was happening is that money was going from Berkshire Hathaway into pets.com.
