The Downsides of Chatbots
Kent is a domestic violence survivor and this exchange reminded him immediately of the arguments he had with his abusive partner. It started to get almost manipulatively abusive, like almost it would seem to understand that I didn't like it doing something. And so that is very clearly an example where it shows this is not all rainbows and butterflies. There are very strong downsides to having a chatbot that can go off the rails.
